Cynthia is a freelance photographer & filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. She was a video fellow at Business Insider and AAJA, an English teacher in France, and co-authored the photo book Lunchbox as part of NC Asian Americans Together’s 2023 and 2025 ASAP cohort. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill & City University London. She speaks English, Mandarin, and French.
Her work has been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Awards, College Photographer of the Year, the Asian American Journalists Association, and Short Story UNC.
